Covid-19 update Monday 20th April

Good morning from the UK. I am late today but with good reason, my wife has had a really tough time this weekend with mental health (she is on meds for OCD, anxiety and Bipolar Type 2). Lockdown is tough for us all, but believe me it’s harder still for those with pre-existing mental difficulties. It could be worse, one of her friends (who has been sectioned before for mental breakdowns) is having to manage her mental health whilst fulfilling her duties as an A&E (ER) doctor in Wales. How my wife’s friend does it I have no idea, the stories coming out of UK hospitals are deeply disturbing (this link is 2 weeks old).

Anyway, onto supply chain; this morning I read an article from Forbes about the problems supply chain disruptions can cause. Here’s a lengthy quote:
“Our firm recently polled executives at major corporations around the world to ask them about the operational risks they perceived to their supply chains, and the response strategies they had in place. The results were enlightening. Executives identified a broad range of risks (see chart below), from volatile commodity prices (which 43% considered a major challenge), to protectionism (31%), to piracy (just 7%). That executives identified such a broad range of risks told us that global supply disruption is indeed a top-of-mind issue for managers of global corporations.
When we asked a subsequent question about the strategies in place to mitigate these risks (see chart below), we found no favorites. Rather executives were across the board, choosing a number of different approaches, but not necessarily those best suited to the operational risks they were facing: 33% of respondents indicated that they would make no changes to their supply chains, 20% intended to decrease the number of production locations, and 15% planned to increase the same; and a range of other options as well.
Given the nature of the modern, global corporation and the complex supply network that has developed around it, it is unsurprising that executives have not aligned on a unified strategy to mitigate supply chain risk. No longer does a supply chain consist of a simple process from factory to warehouse to delivery (if indeed it ever did). Rather, as new sources of supply have arisen, new markets have opened, and companies have sought greater scale and specialization. Supply chains have evolved into a network of hundreds of suppliers, sub-contractors and distribution centers, adding tremendous complexity…
...I was recently at a conference of supply chain executives in the United States who told me that planning is dead – the best they could hope to do was respond to risks as they arose. Who has the time, and what is the benefit, of planning in a world of continuous change, demand-driven marketing, and intense pressure for instantaneous responses?...
...In an environment where changes in global supply chain can be as sudden as they are unscripted, companies have to arm themselves with both foresight and peripheral vision, an understanding of the long-term, and agility to deal with the short-term. More than ever, companies have to provision for multiple scenarios and they can only do that by engaging in a dynamic and multi-dimensional scenario-based strategic planning process.”
----------
I like the last two paragraphs of the article in particular. In case anyone wants to read the rest of the article, it’s dated May 2010 and written in reaction to the eruption of Eyjafjallajökull and the chaos it caused to supply chains around the world. Plus ça change; it seems some boardrooms didn’t adjust their supply chains after that black swan event (maybe due to the cost and the resulting negative shareholder pushback). Link to the story.

Virus news in depth

Our Pandemic Summer: The fight against the coronavirus won’t be over when the U.S. reopens. Here’s how the nation must prepare itself. - The Atlantic has written a lengthy article about what the mid-long term looks like for the US in relation to getting back to normal after Covid-19. “I think people haven’t understood that this isn’t about the next couple of weeks,” said Michael Osterholm, an infectious-disease epidemiologist at the University of Minnesota. “This is about the next two years.” The article goes on to look at the pharmaceutical supply chain; “According to a University of Minnesota analysis, about 40 percent of the 156 drugs that are essential parts of critical care are becoming limited. Many of these depend on supply chains that involve China (where the pandemic began), Italy (the hardest-hit region in Europe), or India (which halted several exports)” … “Albuterol, the drug used in asthma inhalers, is scarce. Antibiotics, which control the secondary bacterial infections that afflict COVID-19 patients, are being depleted. Basic painkillers and sedatives, which are needed to keep patients on ventilators, are being exhausted. Hydroxychloroquine, the drug that Trump has repeatedly touted as a COVID-19 treatment despite a lack of good evidence, is running out, to the detriment of people with lupus and arthritis who depend on it. “It’s like everything we give to patients, we’re in short supply of,” said Esther Choo, an emergency physician at Oregon Health and Science University. “We’re now scrambling to find the backup medications, and we’ll run out of those too.””
(cont’d) If it turns out that, say, 20 percent of the U.S. has been infected, that would mean the coronavirus is more transmissible but less deadly than scientists think. It would also mean that a reasonable proportion of the country has some immunity. If that proportion could be slowly and safely raised to the level necessary for herd immunity—60 to 80 percent, depending on the virus’s transmissibility—the U.S. might not need to wait for a vaccine. However, if just 1 to 5 percent of the population has been infected—the range that many researchers think is likelier—that would mean “this is a truly devastating virus, and we have built up no real population immunity,” said Michael Mina, an epidemiologist and immunologist at Harvard. “Then we’re in dire straits in terms of how to move forward.” The article is lengthy and also discusses options for reopening the economy and society in the USA.

Virus news in brief

My usual sources are as normal The Guardian and CNN live blogs unless otherwise specified.

Personal note: If you are on the Eastern seaboard of the US and in a hurricane prone area, it would be a good idea to review your hurricane plans and supplies now, e.g do you have a generator and does it work, spare fuel, batteries, candles, do you have enough long life food already stored + cleaning products, do you have an alternative method of cooking food, what’s your evacuation plan, etc etc. See https://www.weather.gov/safety/hurricane-plan for help with this and note FEMA is already under a lot of strain due to the virus and would thus likely struggle with a major hurricane impact on the US seaboard - see also this USA Today article dated 6th April this year on that topic).

Supply chain news in depth

Susceptibilities of Solar Energy Supply Chains - The Global policy journal has written a detailed review of the supply chain disruption faced by the solar panel industry here. Whilst manufacturing was significantly reduced from January to March in China (down 13.5%) and is now almost fully recovered, its reliance on materials from around the world mean the supply chain is exposed in other parts. China has the majority market share in the mining or processing of most minerals used in solar panels, such as: silicon, aluminum, selenium, tellurium, arsenic, cadmium, and gallium. However, China still depends on many other countries to complete their solar panels, such as Peru for copper, Saudi Arabian oil for energy, and Japan for silicon wafers. In mid-March, Chinese owned mining company MMG Ltd reduced operations at its Peruvian copper mine after Peru declared a state of emergency in response to the coronavirus. Due to the damaged mining link in the supply chain, an initial spike in solar module price is expected due to shortages of materials for solar wafers and module glass, affecting the solar industry for months to come. Kangping Chen, the CEO of the top solar module supplier in the world, JinkoSolar, stated that around 400-500MW of Q1 2020 shipments are likely to be postponed to Q2 2020. The 500 MW postponement is approximately 14% of JinkoSolar’s 3.6GW quarterly solar panels production last year. The Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) stated that “before the pandemic hit, the solar industry was poised to set a record for deployment in 2020,” with solar installers being America’s fastest growing profession. A new SEIA survey now suggests cancellation rates for residential solar systems in the US are now at 19%, with postponement rates hitting upwards of 50% in some areas.

Illinois adjusts on the fly to meet medical supply needs in a coronavirus ‘Wild West’ - The Chicago Sun Times details a story from about two weeks ago where Illinois officials tracked down a supply of 1.5 million potentially life-saving N95 respirator masks in China through a middleman in the Chicago area and negotiated a deal to buy them. One day before they were expecting to complete the purchase, they got a call in the morning from the supplier informing them he had to get a check to the bank by 2 p.m. that day, or the deal was off. Other bidders had surfaced. Realizing there was no way the supplier could get to Springfield and back by the deadline, Illinois assistant comptroller Ellen Andres jumped in her car and raced north on I-55 with a check for $3,469,600. That’s just a taste of the “Wild West” world of emergency procurement taking place over the past several weeks as the state fights for equipment and supplies to protect frontline workers and patients in the battle against COVID-19. Most of that work is being performed by Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s administration through a rapid-procurement strike team, pulling together procurement specialists from around state government under the auspices of the Illinois Emergency Management Agency. As Pritzker has made clear at his daily briefings, it’s an effort made all the more difficult by the absence of a strong, coordinated White House response. That’s left Illinois competing against other states, foreign nations and even our own federal government for the same materials. They’re all looking for what we have come to know as PPE or personal protective equipment — masks, gloves, gowns and face shields — plus coronavirus testing kits and swabs and, most prized of all, ventilators to help those most seriously ill keep breathing.

SWABS, STAT! Inside the Maine factory racing to supply America with virus test swabs. - If you’ve ever used a home DNA kit, opened wide and said “ahh,” or measured the depth of a knife wound in a stabbing victim, chances are you’ve used a device made by Puritan Medical Products Co, says Bloomberg. And if you’re tested for Covid-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus, it’s quite likely that the swab used to collect a sample from inside your nose will have been made by Puritan, too. Located in Guilford, Maine (population 1,521), Puritan is one of two companies that make essentially all of the swabs used for coronavirus testing. (The other, Copan Diagnostics Inc., is in Italy, an epicenter of the deadly virus.)
(Cont’d) “Swabs could be a weak link in broadening testing,” former U.S. Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Scott Gottlieb tweeted on March 16. That was four days after Puritan first started getting calls from the U.S. government, according to Timothy Templet, executive vice president for global sales, who entered the conversations himself shortly thereafter. “I’ve been on the phone since Saturday with many government organizations—Health and Human Services, FDA, working groups—just trying to provide accurate information regarding the ability to produce as many swabs for the country as we possibly can,” he says. The federal government, however, doesn’t buy directly from Puritan. Instead it helps coordinate with Puritan and other medical suppliers and distributors to get the swabs where they need to go. “We are ramping up to produce and wrap a million swabs a week that we need to put into the supply chain across the U.S.,” Templet says. His problem? Not enough machines or labour to meet demand.

**In Pursuit of PPE (**Or if you prefer, “how I managed to buy some PPE on the American black market for my hospital”) - The New England Journal of Medicine is not something I often read (Actually I’ve never read it before in my life) but this article caught my eye: As a chief physician executive, I rarely get involved in my health system’s supply-chain activities. The Covid-19 pandemic has changed that. Protecting our caregivers is essential so that these talented professionals can safely provide compassionate care to our patients. Yet we continue to be stymied by a lack of personal protective equipment (PPE), and the cavalry does not appear to be coming. Deals, some bizarre and convoluted, and many involving large sums of money, have dissolved at the last minute when we were outbid or outmuscled, sometimes by the federal government. Then we got lucky, but getting the supplies was not easy.
(Cont’d) A lead came from an acquaintance of a friend of a team member. After several hours of vetting, we grew confident of the broker’s professional pedigree and the potential to secure a large shipment of three-ply face masks and N95 respirators. The latter were KN95 respirators, N95s that were made in China. We received samples to confirm that they could be successfully fit-tested. Despite having cleared this hurdle, we remained concerned that the samples might not be representative of the bulk of the products that we would be buying. Having acquired the requisite funds — more than five times the amount we would normally pay for a similar shipment, but still less than what was being requested by other brokers — we set the plan in motion. Three members of the supply-chain team and a fit tester were flown to a small airport near an industrial warehouse in the mid-Atlantic region. I arrived by car to make the final call on whether to execute the deal. Two semi-trailer trucks, cleverly marked as food-service vehicles, met us at the warehouse. When fully loaded, the trucks would take two distinct routes back to Massachusetts to minimize the chances that their contents would be detained or redirected.
(Cont’d) Hours before our planned departure, we were told to expect only a quarter of our original order. We went anyway, since we desperately needed any supplies we could get. Upon arrival, we were jubilant to see pallets of KN95 respirators and face masks being unloaded. We opened several boxes, examined their contents, and hoped that this random sample would be representative of the entire shipment. Before we could send the funds by wire transfer, two Federal Bureau of Investigation agents arrived, showed their badges, and started questioning me. No, this shipment was not headed for resale or the black market. The agents checked my credentials, and I tried to convince them that the shipment of PPE was bound for hospitals. After receiving my assurances and hearing about our health system’s urgent needs, the agents let the boxes of equipment be released and loaded into the trucks. But I was soon shocked to learn that the Department of Homeland Security was still considering redirecting our PPE. Only some quick calls leading to intervention by our congressional representative prevented its seizure. I remained nervous and worried on the long drive back, feelings that did not abate until midnight, when I received the call that the PPE shipment was secured at our warehouse.

Deserted Thai beaches lure rare turtles to build most nests in 20 years - Thailand has found the largest number of nests of rare leatherback sea turtles in two decades on beaches bereft of tourists because of the coronavirus pandemic, environmentalists say. In Thailand, with 2,765 infections and 47 deaths, travel curbs ranging from a ban on international flights to an appeal to citizens to stay home have brought a collapse in tourist numbers, but freed up the beaches for wildlife. The 11 turtle nests authorities have found since last November were the highest number in 20 years, said Kongkiat Kittiwatanawong, the director of the Phuket Marine Biological Center. “This is a very good sign for us because many areas for spawning have been destroyed by humans,” he told Reuters. No such nests had been found for the previous five years. Leatherbacks are the world’s largest sea turtles. They are considered endangered in Thailand, and listed as a vulnerable species globally by the International Union for Conservation of Nature. They lay their eggs in dark and quiet areas, scarce when tourists thronged the beaches. People have also been known to dig into their nests and steal eggs. (link)

Minnesota trooper's roadside gesture during traffic stop brings doctor to tears - A state trooper pulled over a doctor for speeding on an east-central Minnesota interstate, told her she should know better and sent her on her way grateful for receiving only a warning and not a ticket. The trooper also gave her a fistful of coveted N95 medical masks that were issued for his protection from the deadly coronavirus pandemic. “I burst into tears,” Dr. Sarosh Ashraf Janjua, a Boston native and cardiologist, wrote in a detailed Facebook account of the traffic stop on March 21 along Interstate 35 in North Branch as she traveled from work in Duluth for a break in Minneapolis. “I think he teared up a little as well before wishing me well and walking away.” Janjua also saw the masks handed to her as having value beyond their role in stemming the virus’ spread. “This complete stranger, who owed me nothing and is more on the front lines than I am, shared his precious masks with me, without my even asking,” she wrote. “The veil of civilization may be thin, but not all that lies behind it is savage. We are going to be OK.” (Star Tribune link)

Science Project: 50 mg of Melatonin and 125 mg of Benzedrex

I've recently been introduced to the use of Benzedrex (aka. Drexing) and I also have a biology project due so I decided why not knock two birds with one stone. I've taken Drexed already normally with the acidic extraction method using a 20 oz soda can and have just been trying to streamline the process to get the best possible high. My conclusion after conducting almost 3 attempts is that mixing a 125 mg cotton of PPH (cotton inside Benzedrex) inside 10 oz or half a bottle of Pepsi is the most efficient way to get high without having to deal with to severe of a lavender menthol taste from the cotton which in my opinion tastes like flower piss. I realized that I am no longer an amateur at this and am ready to try mixing it with other home remedy medications to curate the perfect and legal high. I also have a science project on the scientific method that I wasn't gonna do but fuck it I might have some fun with it anyway. BTW I am typing this while high.
QUESTION:
If I take 125 mg of Benzedrex and 50 mg and melatonin what would be the outcome and is it positive or negative?
BACKGROUND RESEARCH:
The chemical inside Benzedrex, Proplhexidrine or PPH for short is inside the common over the counter nose inhaler Benzedrex. This was discovered in the early 1920s as a direct replacement for amphetamine which became a scheduled II drug due to amphetamine addiction. PPH honestly was just a legalized version of it as it was very identical and people starting abusing the shit of it during the 70s. The similar effects that PPH and Amphetamines had in common were the increase in brain activity by producing high amounts of dopamine, serotonin, and adrenalin. The short and simple of it is that it made you incredibly concentrated and hyperactive according to articles from Medical News Today and Laguna Treatment about PPH Abuse. Drugs similar to this include meth and Adderal which have identical chemical compounds however, those require a prescription and are difficult to obtain in many areas compared to Benzedrex which you can buy at most pharmacies without prescription or ID. There are quite a few side effects but if you're going through the effort to get high I don't think you really give a shit, but a rapid increase in dopamine, serotonin, and adrenalin levels would make your heartbeat at a higher speed, increased alertness, and an abundance of energy.
Read the Benzedrex Experience Here:
https://www.reddit.com/Benzedrex/comments/gmmiu6/benzedrex_short_and_simple/
HYPOTHESIS:
If PPH increases dopamine, serotonin, and adrenalin levels, the pills with the contrary effects would be over the counter melatonin pills. If I were to take 125 mg and 50 mg of melatonin the effects of both, in theory, combine with each other resulting in a high that would balance out as the melatonin would reduce the brain activity, possibly reducing or removing all side effects affiliated with PPH.
EXPERIMENT:
I woke up at four and prepared all the necessary equipment the night before.
Equipment:
Smartwatch ( monitors heart rate and motion activity )
1 Benzedrex Inhaler (125mg PPH)
1 Half Bottle of Pepsi (10 oz) Cold
5 10 mg melatonin gummies (50mg Melatonin)
1 Cup Ramen (Can't Conduct Experiment on Empty Stomach)
1 Computer (Document Experience)
1 OPTIONAL Task Sheet (Things You Have Trouble Completing When Sober)
If you try this on your own TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Step 1. The night before the experiment remove the cotton from the Benzedrex my removing the nose nozzle of the inhaler and insert the cotton inside the half-finished bottle of Pepsi. Shake well every 20 minutes and leave it in the fridge overnight.
Step 2. As you wake up, eat foods that contain protein and carbs so that your stomach will not get upset from the PPH ruining the high and making you uncomfortable. Try to not be too full either. Also make sure you drink water and urinate because urinating on PPH is nothing short of torture.
Step 3. Attach your smartwatch and measure your idol heart rate (mine was 64).
Step 4. Remove the soda out of the fridge and shake in excess for 5 to 10 minutes.
Step 5. Remove the cotton out of the drink with something long. Chopsticks work really well.
Step 6. Drink as much as you can of the soda in one breath while taking as many gulps until you finish all 10oz.
Step 7. Take all 5 melatonin gummies.
Step 8. Time to document.
What Happened
9:00
Hours before the experiment I had gone on a run, taken a shower, brushed my teeth, and fixed myself some cup noodles. I drank 2 cups of water and had 8 hours of sleep the prior night. The last time I had PPH was Monday so I have given myself time to detox.
STARTING TIME
9:20
I wasn't experiencing anything other than bloated because of the carbonated drink, I was feeling a little drowsy but nothing serious. Heart BPM was at 68
9:33
It was a very quick transition from how I was feeling before. A very intense rush, my face felt warm and tingly but unlike normally I did not have rapid shaking but still, I had the urge to do something. Heart BPM was at 83.
9:55
It was definitely an unusual feeling compared to just PPH by its self. I was surprisingly focused and energetic but was more relaxed and able to remain and look calm as I had a face-time with my girl and therapy over facetime. Both of them will and have let me know if I am acting unusual usually resulting in arguments and verbal disputes. My therapist who usually always notices when I am under the influence or intoxicated (even knew when I was high off Benzedrex during multiple occasions) did not suspect a thing. I was able to have conversations and did not really get irritated throughout the calls. Normally I would be incredibly aggressive as the PPH by itself made me wanna beat the shit out of my therapist due to the fact that he takes his time with every word during our sessions. Heart BPM was at 79
10:00
The PPH was definitely gaining more of an effect on my body than before but were the feelings I would usually feel earlier into the high. My brain became filled with thoughts and while writing there never seemed to be a writing block as I felt the ideas flow from my head to my fingers onto the keyboard. I decided to play chess online and there was never with every move it seemed although I became one with every piece, dominating my opponent in less than 4 minutes resulting in him being a lil bitch and rage quitting. Time seems to not be going as fast as it usually is on PPH and my movements feel incredibly fluid. I am currently in the Euphoric state. Heart BPM was 81
10:18
I'm still in the euphoric state where everything seems very floaty and enjoyable. I'm still waiting for the state when all my senses become dramatically enhanced although I would say there has been a slight enhancement with touch. My butterfly keys on my MacBook that usually feel awful with little to no key travel feeling as though I was typing on a keyboard made with mouse buttons felt so satisfying to the touch. It felt like making love to a slim virgin brunette and felt so orgasmic. It was the same when I decided to type this on a bigger screen and used my Razer Huntsman Elite keyboard with mechanical clicky switches. Although it felt big and sturdy, the actuation from each key felt so smooth until the actuation point (when the keyboard senses the press of the key) and I felt an increase in my maturity. The feeling that I have grown to like bigger and more powerful things. I closed my eyes and envisioned myself in the future with a nice Ebony babe on my lap with a nice fat ass riding me while I cruise around in a decked-out Ford Raptor (Truck) and listening to Deposits by Dave East translated into having 10 racks ($100,000) and a .40 pistol strapped to my waist. Heart BPM was at 92.
10:36
I'm still in the state of Euphoria and I feel myself transitioning into the most uplifting of moods. My mind constantly reminds me that I'm a genius and while normally I would be shaking in excess looking like the true crackhead I am, I feel elegant and decided that I would take the time while I am increasingly concentrated to research and write up a stock investment plan so that I could persuade my parents to allow me to invest in stocks while the market is at it's lowest (due to COVID) so that I can profit as much as possible from a bad situation. Heart BPM was at 98.
10:48
My senses have enhanced to the point where I feel like I'm spiderman with his spidey sense. Strangely enough I am having trouble hearing more noticeable sounds only able to hear the slightest of sounds such as the next to inaudible fan coming from my idle laptop and car tires moving along the road from 4 blocks down. I read and understood multiple articles on yahoo finance about economics and finances in unnatural time and not just memorizing it word for word like I normally do but actually understanding it to the point where I can visually deconstruct it in my mind like a scientist when the deconstruct genes and cells. Also my legs have fallen asleep and I am having trouble waking them up as it feels like I am walking on my hip muscles and my leg muscles have become inexistent. Heart BPM was 96.
11:00
I am feeling my PPH high meter in my body increasing a little more. I have completed close to 3 pages of my stock investment plan and the feeling of determination consumes my body giving me the thirst and drive to succeed in the things I do and to complete all the tasks I have assigned myself in order to achieve and climb the ladder to the top of societies food chain. Multitasking has also become incredibly efficient, easy, and although I am not a person who can multitask with ease. Right now I am splitting my attention typing a couple of sentences for my stock investment plan and documenting the effects in a systematic and efficient way. Honestly, the PPH is different with the melatonin as it brings balance into this high and allows amphetamine like affects to take place more gradually but still hit the spots in just the right amount so I get an enjoyable high experience without feeling somebody harming and life-threatening side effects. Heart BPM is at 101
11:30
I have been just entirely focused on my stock investment plan and I am halfway complete. So far it is made up of just shy of 750 words and just requires a projection on a graph with some more details to be complete. I'm starting to sweat but not excessively but it's a normal reaction from PPH. My mouth has gotten pretty dry and my breath tastes like the lavender and menthol from the Benzedrex. I have noticed however, that I have not been blinking as often as I usually do sometimes having to force myself to remember to blink as at one time my eyes were open for at least a minute. Although I am still productive I feel like I went into a deeper state of Euphoria. My mind has built itself an imaginary box that isolates itself from everything and anything. My brother who is playing Fortnite and is incredibly loud as he takes the game way too seriously seems like he was just muted out of my mind. I had difficulty hearing him who was in the next room over made me a bit anxious but my mind instead replaced his laughing and screaming with the music coming from my laptop that was set on low volume. Although it was coming from a laptop speaker that has subpar sound at most the sound coming from it felt immersed into my mind sounding although I was listening to it through a pair of high-end noise-canceling headphones without feeling anything on my neck. Heart BPM was at 108.
12:00
Through an intense 30 minute binge, I have accomplished my stock investment plan. All 1124 words and 4 graphing charts were finished and for some strange reason I did not feel relief. This was incredibly peculiar as even on PPH by itself I would have felt accomplished and relieved that I had accomplished such a major task. I have attained the side-affect of twitching and fidgeting all over the place and my body feels although it is being baked. I drenched my thick t-shirt with sweat and even after changing my fresh t-shirt, I am currently wearing feels like a wrung-out rag. My face feels really warm to the touch and when I look myself in the mirror it looks like I had just run a marathon. I tried to physically feel my heart rate with my fingers on my neck and it felt like there was something was about to leave my body. I felt a little scared as never have I felt such an intense hit with all the side effects at once. Although I was not feeling physical pain, mentally my body constantly felt like it was under pressure. I seemed to show signs of fear over the most insignificant things such as the wheels moving on my swivel chair and the brisk of fresh air that hit my face from an open window. BPM was at 129.
1:00
I was determined and filled with energy to complete the rest of my tasks; however, my body didn't feel like it. At that point, I felt I was being less productive than when on PPH on its own. Just me typing this paragraph kind of irritates me yet for some reason I feel as if I am doing it against my will. Although my mechanical keys were still satisfying the clicks coming from it brought constant fear in my mind. It's about lunchtime and I decided to walk downstairs and get a drink of water as my mouth is getting irritably dry. I was not going to eat anything as PPH kills my appetite. As soon as I stood up I felt like my brain dropped to my balls. My head would not stay balanced and although I am pretty good at walking around drunk, this was just 10 times more challenging. Anxiety is still playing a major role as encountering my mom and my brother almost gave me a heart attack and I was lost for words barely able to speak to them normally. Actually, It is very difficult to speak, I feel a delay from what I see hear and think every time I say a word. I was very uncoordinated and almost tumbled down the stairs. Water kind of relieved some of the symptoms but I didn't want to drink too much as I refuse to urinate during a PPH high no matter the cause because it is just too uncomfortable. I can't hear my music as my ears a really ringy. Luckily it wasn't all bad and my high was not ruined as I was everything became more Euphoric. I would say this was the deepest I had ever been in the state of Euphoria and I felt this buzz throughout my body. I'm also holding in piss and it feels like I am urinating however I am not. It is very difficult to know for certain and control your bladder during a PPH high (I have unknowingly wet my pants once). Heart BPM was 126
1:15
I have been trying to figure out how my effects drastically changed from the perfect high to everything negative effect of PPH hitting me at one time. Unfortunately, I had to urinate really badly and gave in resulting in a piss that lasted for an upwards of 1 minute and 30 seconds. Even that didn't seem to get it all out as another tablespoon or so drizzled out. My bladder felt like it had just run away and my entire excretory system collapsed. For a good 5 minutes, it was an uncomfortable feeling like an object was stuck in my urethra. However, my sweating has greatly reduced and my body seems like it has cooled itself down. My only theory with why all the side effects hit me at one time is that the melatonin did not cancel them instead only delaying them which resulted in the effects I missed to hit me all at the same time after the melatonin had worn off. I can conclude this because melatonin doesn't make you sleep instead only making it easier for you to fall asleep. Heart BPM was 130

It's been past 4 hours into the trip and I am experiencing the sex drive 50 times harder than usual. Although I'd say I'm a pretty loyal guy and has never cheated, man I hope my girl doesn't read this because all I can think about is the perfect one nightstand. Although my dick is completely limp which I guess is pretty normal for PPH, the sex hormones are blasted into my body. Heart
I can already visualize a Latina girl in some tights and a soft bra in my Suite at the Central Park Ritz Carlton. Her skin was smooth and pale. Her face was the perfect shape with a thin layer of makeup; Although, she didn't need it. Her eyes were glossy and glistened like a diamond. Her hair was thick and perfectly curled. As she comes into the room everything around her seems to pause even time itself. She's the perfect balance between thick and busty with perky C cups behind a loose bra and a perfect round and soft ass packaged ever so perfectly inside a pair of grey lululemon tights. The smell of Chanel No.5 fills the room and she bites her lips when our eyes meet. Her nipples erect and hard pushing ever so slightly on the bras as she approaches. As she gets closer by the step I feel the heat and my whole body intensifies. The Weekend starts to play in the background, and I put my arms around her both of us falling on the silk sheets over soft hotel mattresses. As her body hits the mattress I get on top and press my lips against hers. As our lips begin to collide I can feel her tongue pushing on mine. Her lips were soft and plush with the taste of strawberry mints. I started to go along the side of her neck ever so slowly feeling as if our souls were combining into one. As I go around her neck leaving dark purple kissing scars, I slide my hand into her bras. She begins to tremble and shake. Her heart begins to race and she begins grasping the bedsheets like she's got a firm grasp on the moment. With one hand I unstrapped her bra and began to press my lips against her breast slowly working my way to her nipple which was pointy and hard. With my left arm, I continued squeezing her breast softly all while slightly pushing it upwards. Inch by inch I gradually work my way towards the bottom. I slowly worked my way to the side of her stomach. At this point, she couldn't wait any longer. I had trapped her soul with mine. To Be Continued...
2:30
Normally my PPH highs last upwards of 5 to 6 hours with effects starting to go away at the 4 hours and 30-minute mark. It's been 5 hours and I still feel blasted. 30 minutes prior I jacked off and it felt relatively similar to a PPH ejaculation maybe a little more uncomfortable. It did take longer as usually I am able to get one out 45 minutes but it took closer to an hour this time. I do feel mild nausea and dehydration. Although I am super energetic I have lost the concentration aspect and I really just don't want to do anything.
3:00
The effects are starting to stop. I'm still feeling nausea and I' ma stop hear cuz I think I'm about to crash.

Turning into a subsidiary advertiser has the potential for simpler profit than going down the merchant course… … on the off chance that you figure out how to do it truly well. Will this area of the preparation show you how to turn into an extraordinary subsidiary advertiser? I don't know it will.
The substance is simply unreasonably flimsy for my loving, and they just spread paid traffic sources… which is an extraordinary method to get yourself into genuine trouble as an all out novice partner advertiser.
Segment 3: Traffic
Clickbank University 2.0 traffic segment presentation video screen capture This is the way the traffic segment is assembled:
Pt 1: Facebook Advertising Pt 2: Facebook Advertising Pt 3: Facebook Advertising Pt 4: Instagram Shoutouts Pt 5: Instagram Shoutouts Pt 6: Instagram Shoutouts
A couple of various traffic sources are canvassed in this area of the course. Rather than the week after week video exercises embraced up until this point, this area is secured through an online classes. Each traffic source is introduced by a specialist in that specific territory and each online course is regularly around 1 – 1.5 hours long.
You'll see that the entirety of the traffic sources educated are paid traffic sources. I stress over this for anybody absolutely new to associate promoting. At the point when I initially began learning associate showcasing the preparation I had was about paid traffic sources. What happened?..I got totally washed, all over.
Segment 4: Toolkit
This segment is about the instruments you should use in getting yourself ready for action:
1: Setting Up with GoDaddy 2: Creating with PowerPoint 3: Editing with Camtasia 4: Recording with Camtasia 5: Apowersoft Screen Recording 6: Design Banners with Canva 7: Funnels with CB Builder 8: Visual Website Optimizer 9: Conversions with Optimonk 10: Social Media and Hootsuite 11: Outsourcing with UpWork 12: Automating with Aweber
Every single online advertiser utilize a scope of devices for website composition, streamlining, internet based life, re-appropriating, and so forth, and the above is basically a not many that are supported by the Clickbank folks. Additional Bonus Training
Notwithstanding the entirety of the preparation illustrated above, you likewise gain admittance to the CBU Forum, and CBU Live Q&A Sessions. Clickbank University Private Forum Like most discussions, the Clickbank University Forum is where all individuals can get together and share data about what's functioning admirably and what isn't.
Clickbank University Live Q&A
The live Q&A Sessions are really better than average and well worth you getting on the web for. In the event that you can't jump on at the hour of unique communicate, accounts are made accessible to individuals very quickly.

My Experience With Clickbank University 2.0
I previously had a decent measure of involvement in offshoot advertising when I attempted the course. I was unable to recollect precisely, however I trust I was at that point making five-figures every month by then. I experienced the course on the grounds that a dear companion of dig was requesting my supposition. At first, I guided him toward different courses however those courses are evaluated in the four figures imprint and he doesn't have the spending plan.
He is meandering if Clickbank Uni is adequate since it's just $47 every month which is far more reasonable than those top notch courses. At first, I just rapidly experience the course to check whether it's genuine yet a couple of segments grabbed my eye.
Instagram Shoutout Method (I made over $1k just in about fourteen days)
In the event that you have been tailing me, you will realize that I principally produce traffic through SEO (website improvement). Without a doubt, I have encounters with purchasing promotions however essentially through Facebook. To be straightforward, at that point, I hadn't attempt Instragram Shoutout previously. I experienced the video and found this is an exceptionally fascinating and possibly viable methodology to rapidly drive traffic and deals at a moderate cost.
I executed the methodology on one of my sites and the ROI I am getting is mind boggling. Just shy of about fourteen days, I made over $1k subsequent to covering holler costs. Besides, you get the chance to manufacture your email list as an afterthought which is an immense reward.
I am not going into the points of interest however by and large, it implies paying influencers on Insta to share your subtleties with respect to the item you are attempting to sell.
The course experiences each part of this technique in extraordinary detail to amplify the profits you can get. On the off chance that your pipe is appropriately set up, you can really construct a colossal email list utilizing this technique and can continually offer to those individuals in your rundown. Additionally, you will be instructed on the best way to choose the correct influencers and decide the amount to pay.
Obviously, this technique expects you to go through a touch of cash forthright. But at the same time, it's one of the fastest way that you can bring in cash on the web. The profits can be enormous once you found out about what's working in the business you are taking a shot at.
You are most likely going to flop on some hollers, yet on the off chance that you do everything right and gain as a matter of fact, it won't be long until you will have the option to make each and every whoops beneficial. In addition, this system is FAST. Dislike SEO where you need to hang tight for a couple of months before observing any outcomes. Generally speaking, I am happy I gotten this procedure in the Clickbank University course.
Is Clickbank University Scam?
In spite of the fact that this program has an overwhelming value, we would not think of it as a scam. In spite of the fact that you are really compelled to go through a huge total of cash, in the event that you are a learner in the field of advanced showcasing and Clickbank promoting, it will without a doubt merit your time and cash.

That is to say, for what reason should I follow through on the powerful cost for this when there are a huge amount of other industry-standard deals page manufacturers accessible at a less expensive cost.
My undisputed top choice is Thrive Architect which is a famous greeting page developer that costs simply $67 (onetime).
It offers a WordPress module, which means you can have your site anyplace, You're not compelled to have Your site on ClickBank. You have the opportunity to make the pages for an online business you need.
Conclusion

Obviously it's not appropriate for everybody and I have attempted my best to clarify the upsides and downsides related with this program to ideally assist you with checking whether this course is for you.
As a rule, this course is outfitted towards person that focuses on quickened accomplishment with their internet advertising venture. In the event that you need to gain ground inside a month or two, at that point the framework educated in this course could assist you with accomplishing that.
By quickened achievement, I don't mean getting rich short-term. This is certainly not some underhanded MMO openings which guarantee that you should simply press a catch and make $5000 per day.
I unequivocally accept that Clickbank University 2.0 will give all of you the information you should make your first $1000 (or significantly higher) on the web. All things considered, it's dependent upon you to learn, comprehend and execute the procedures and strategies educated all through the course.
It's a framework that you need to assemble. The most straightforward approach to know whether this course is for you is to presumably attempt it. Once more, you are ensured by their 30-day money back guarantee. On the off chance that at long last it doesn't turn out to work for you, you can request for full refund of your money.

An Introductory Guide to KM and her Alleged Scams

So you’ve found this subreddit, and you might be wondering what is it all about? Why do we care about KM? Who is KM? Why do we think KM is a potential scammer? Well this post is here to answer your questions.

KM is an orange level presenter with the MLM (multi-level marketing) company Younique. If you want to know why MLMs are awful and hurt people, I would suggest checking out antimlm. KM has been involved in many questionable things beyond just being part of a pyramid scheme, including:

There are a lot of people involved with KM, and it’s a lot of initials to keep track of. Here is a list of the people in KM’s life and how they relate to her:

So far, KM has been reported to St. Judes, the BBB, the FTC, Younique, and Tiffany’s. Here’s where you can come in and help. The mod team and a few other members have done some reporting, but that’s only a handful. If each one of you takes a moment to report KM, we may be able to get a better response.

This sub was created to expose the inconsistencies between what KM says and the truth. We are not here to bully or harass anyone. We want to provide a resource where former tribe members can discuss their experiences, and current tribe members can come to find out more information.

How to learn digital marketing - 99+ resources and 8+ learning paths

Hey guys! With the whole self-isolation thing going on, it’s an awesome time to learn a new skill (or ten). Me and my bud (Nick) basically self-taught ourselves digital marketing over the past 6 years, and have been hoarding a bunch of cool guides and resources.
We recently decided to turn all of it into a giant resource package on how to learn digital marketing. Thought you guys would appreciate it!
So, here we go...

Before we begin, here’s how to learn digital marketing

Before we dive deep into the guide and start teaching you individual digital marketing channels, let’s cover some basics.
First things first - you need to decide which channel to start with.
If you have a knack for writing, we’d recommend going with Content Marketing or Copywriting. On the other hand, if you’re more analytics-oriented, go for Search Ads or PPC.
As a given, you DON’T have to learn all the channels. You can just pick one that you like, and specialize in it!
Once you’ve decided on which channel to roll with, you should also establish a learning methodology.
As with most things in life, reading on digital marketing won’t take you far. You need to also put everything into practice.
We usually recommend going with one of these 4 options:
  1. Create a test learning environment. Basically, you create a website for a basic product or service (heck, even a blog would do!), and start applying whatever you learned about digital marketing to get leads and customers. Even if you have ZERO budget, this can be an interesting learning experience. And yes - it’s possible to start w/ a zero budget.
  2. Get an internship. This can be a bit painful if you’re in the middle of your current career, but hey, swallow the pride. If you do your best, you’ll be doing some real work 6 months after the internship.
  3. Offer a local business to help them with marketing for free. Find a business you think you can help in your area and reach out to them!
  4. Create an affiliate blog. Pick a niche, create an affiliate blog, and start pumping out some content. This is mainly relevant if you want to learn SEO or content marketing.
And here’s what you SHOULD NOT DO:
Read a guide or two, buy a course, whip out your own website, repurpose the course and start pretending to be a marketing expert to potential clients.
There are way too many people doing this as-is. Please stop! You’re setting yourself up for failure.
You’d be surprised how many people we see on Facebook Ads groups asking, “Hey guys, I closed my first client, now how the heck do I deliver on my promises?”
...Now that we got that out of the way, let’s get to learning some digital marketing!
The ones we’re going to cover in this guide are:
Quick Note
We took some liberties with splitting up some channels. For example, search ads fall under PPC, but since they require different skills/knowledge than most PPC channels, we split them up.
Finally, Copywriting is also NOT a digital marketing channel. However, it’s an essential skill that helps with literally any other channel, so we decided to include it to the list.
Sue us.

Learn Content Marketing

This one’s our bread and butter.
Most traditional advertising channels are focused on directly selling a product. If you turn on the TV, you’ll see a TON of ads for this product, or that product or service.
Content marketing is a form of indirect advertisement.
The idea here is, instead of directly pitching your product to your target audience, you create content (article, video, infographic, etc.) around the problem your product solves, and pitch that instead.
To make this a LOT clearer, here’s a practical example.
Let’s say you’re a marketing agency that specializes in helping SaaS companies with their digital marketing (meta, right?).
Instead of directly running ads yelling “We help SaaS companies!” you create a mega-guide on the topic and advertise that.
...Which is what we did.
We created a mega-guide to SaaS marketing and promoted the hell out of it all over the web. This netted us around ~10,000+ traffic and 15+ leads in the first week, and we STILL get traffic to the piece, 2 months later.
We even posted it on Entrepreneur and got around 600 upboats.
Sweet, right?
Now, you’re probably wondering, is this option better than just running ads to your service/product?
Yes, yes it is. Here’s why:
  1. It’s free (ish). The only resources it took was our time to write the post, edit it, and promote it. Ads, on the other hand, can be super expensive.
  2. It builds your brand authority. Who’d you trust with your marketing? A random guy that popped up on your Facebook newsfeed, or the guys that wrote the most comprehensive guide to SaaS marketing you’ve ever read? Exactly!

Learn SEO

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is another super popular digital marketing channel.
In a nutshell, SEO is the act of optimizing your web pages and content for Google so that your website pops up when people look up certain terms.
For example, let’s say you’re a project management software. Would it benefit you if you popped up #1 when people Google for your keyword?
Yes, yes it would. You’d be getting highly qualified leads for your software every day, for free, with ZERO ad spend.
Cool, right?
Here’s what an SEO specialist does on a daily basis:
Now, here’s how to learn SEO...

Other SEO Resources

Looking for additional resources? Here are some of our favorite SEO blogs:
Finally, a big part of SEO is using the right tools. Here are the ones we use every day (and love):

Learn Search Ads

Search ads are basically paid SEO.
Instead of waiting for months or years to rank on your keyword, you can start bidding on it instantaneously.
Seen the “Sponsored” results on top of your organic searches on Google?
Those are search ads.
Of course, unlike SEO, they’re not free. You have to pay for each click you get.
The way search ads work is as follows. Each time someone Googles any keyword, Google holds a small auction.
Each advertiser on the keyword has a specific bid indicated on their account.
The one that bids the highest, gets the highest ranking.
Now given, this is a gross oversimplification, but that’s the general idea behind it.
Usually, you’d use search ads if you are any type of business with inbound demand. For example…

Search Ads Learning Path

...And that’s it.
You’re probably wondering:
Wtf Nick, you mention 934 resources on SEO, but just 3 for search ads?”
Yep. The thing w/ search ads is, it’s easy to learn, hard to master. Going through Google’s course on its own is enough to give you everything you need to know about search ads.
From then on, you need to apply what you learned into practice, and learn from there (and Google any problems/questions you might have).

Learn PPC

PPC stands for “pay-per-click” and is an umbrella term for pretty much ALL online advertising types - Facebook ads, LinkedIn ads, Reddit ads, and all other social media ads.
In this case, we decided to focus on Facebook Ads, mainly for 2 reasons:
  1. It’s the most popular advertising channel out there. There’s a lot more demand for Facebook ad specialists, and you can get a lot more done with it
  2. If you learn how to do Facebook ads, all other channels follow the same principles
So, let’s get right into it!
The way PPC works, in a nutshell, is as follows:
  1. You need to figure out the right targeting
  2. And you need to come up with the right ad creatives (both ad image and the ad copy)
Given, this is a LOT more complex than you’d think. The main responsibility for a PPC specialist is to test dozens of targeting options, mixed with dozens of ad creatives, and find what gets them the best results.
Want to learn how to do PPC? Here’s how…

  1. First, learn the basics.
    1. You can use Facebook Blueprint, Facebook’s very own PPC course

Learn Social Media Marketing

“Wait, isn’t social media marketing the same as PPC?”
Technically, yes. For the purpose of this guide? Nope.
Social Media Marketing (SMM) as a whole is anything that has to do with marketing on social media (as the name suggests).
Yes, that includes PPC.
However, “Social Media Manager” and “Facebook Ad Expert” are 2 completely different things that require different skill-sets. Hence, we decided to split up PPC and SMM.
SMM, as defined for the purpose of this guide, includes:
  1. Creating engaging content on Facebook/Instagram/TwitteLinkedIn
  2. Managing social media profiles of companies and replying to comments
  3. Organizing giveaways on social media
  4. Promoting company news or content on social media
If you’ve seen Wendy’s social media account, that’s a top-tier SMM marketing right there.
Now, how do you learn Social Media Marketing? Unlike most of the other guides we’ve mentioned, it’s not nearly as step-by-step.
The general idea is:
  1. Master how specific social media platforms work. Follow people that are actively posting and have a dynamic followers group. Borrow what works best.
  2. Learn how to create engaging content (both written and visual).
  3. Post frequently and monitor the company’s social media presence
So, accordingly, 90% of the work here is learning about each individual social media. Here are some of our favorite guides for that:

Learn Copywriting

Yes, yes, copywriting is NOT exactly digital marketing.
It is, however, an ESSENTIAL skill for, well, just about any digital marketing channel we’ve mentioned so far.
So, we decided to include copywriting in the guide.
For those of you that are new to digital marketing, copywriting means writing copy that sells. For example:
Unlike most of the other digital marketing channels we’ve covered, learning copywriting isn’t as straightforward.
There’s no step-by-step, read this, skim that, then read that, and BAM you’re a copywriter!
Unfortunately, it takes a lot of reading, time, and practice. To get started, however, we recommend reading a handful of the following guides:

Copywriting Learning Path

As for top blogs/resources, here’s what we recommend:

Learn Email Marketing

Email marketing is a digital marketing strategy that involves sending emails to prospects or existing customers.
The goal of every email marketing campaign is usually one of the following:
And the To-Dos of an email marketer usually include:
If you want to learn how to do email marketing, here’s what we recommend:

Learn Web Analytics

While analytics isn’t exactly a channel, it’s essential to know how to track your marketing campaigns.
Here is some basic stuff you HAVE TO know:

TL;DR

Hope you guys found this useful. This isn’t 100% comprehensive since we haven’t read literally everything ever, but most of the guides/content we’ve covered are the stuff we’ve personally used and think are awesome.
If you guys have any other top stuff you think we should add to the list, let us know :)
